I used Rust-Oleum to fix up an old patio table, i’m really happy with how it turned out. The site made it easy to figure out which product I needed, and the color match was exactly what I was looking for. It went on smoothly and dried faster than I expected. I know some people can be picky about paint, but I really don’t have anything bad to say here. The table looks so much better now, so yeah, 5 stars from me.

After just one winter, it already started peeling. I feel like I’ve had to explain this more than once, but that’s really all there is to it, it didn’t hold up. Definitely not buying it again.

I used Rust-Oleum on a small metal shelf, and it looked really good at first. The color came out how I wanted, and it dried smooth without much hassle.

After a couple weeks, though, I started seeing chips along the edges where things get bumped. I asked support about it, and they basically said it works best when the surface is prepped really well and the piece isn’t getting constant knocks. Fair enough, but I still thought it would be a bit tougher. I’d use it again for light-duty stuff, just not for anything that gets handled a lot.

I use this on an old metal shelf and it came out nice in the end. The part where I rushed the sanding and cleaning didn’t stick too good, so I had to learn that the hard way. Once I actually prepped it proper, it was looking way better. I’d give it 4 stars, just make sure you don’t skip the prep steps.

But after a couple of weeks, I started seeing scratches from keys and just normal everyday use. Nothing completely awful, but I really thought it would be a little tougher. Also, having to go through repeated verification just to leave a review was annoying. Overall, I’d say it’s fine for something decorative or stuff that won’t get touched much, but I wouldn’t use it on anything that gets regular use

The paint went on smoothly, so no complaints there, but wooow the odor was stronger than I expected. I had the windows open and could still smell it for quite a while after. It wasn’t awful or anything, just not something I’d be excited to use indoors again...

I was a little worried the cans might not match exactly, but they all ended up being the same color. Everything blended really well, which definitely made me feel better about the project.

I had an issue with some peeling paint, and the warranty team was a bit slow to get back to me. That said, they did end up replacing it, so I’d call it a “fair” experience overall.

I picked up Rust-Oleum to freshen up an old patio chair set, and it covered a lot better than I thought it would. One can actually went far, so I didn't even have to run back and buy more. For the price, I really can’t complain at all

I used this on my old gate a few weeks back, and even after all that rain, the rust hasn’t really shown up again. The smell is definitely strong at first, so I wouldn’t use it too close to where you’re hanging around, but yeah, that stuff seems to have done what it was supposed to do

If something is meant for outdoor use, I feel like it should be made to handle normal weather, otherwise it just doesn’t feel right to sell it that way.

I ordered from rustoleum and the can arrived dented, with paint leaked all inside the box. The paint itself seems like it’s probably fine, but the packaging was definitely not enough for something being shipped. Of course it showed up like this right when I needed to use it, so the timing made it even more frustrating. Cleaning up the mess was annoying, and I’d expect them to pack paint a lot better than that...

I was expecting the refund to be a whole thing, especially since I had errands to run that day and didn’t feel like dealing with emails back and forth. But it came through really fast and there was no headache at all. Smooth experience.
